EASY AND AUTHENTIC INSTANT PRESSURE COOKER EGG BIRYANI - ANDA BIRYANI - EGG RICE


INGREDIENTS  :

  • 4 boiled eggs
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 kg Basamati rice
  • 1 bowl fried onions
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp Biryani masala
  • Salt to Taste
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Handful of fried onion

For gravy
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 green and black cardamoms
  • Small piece of cinnamon
  • 7-8 fresh mint leaves
  • Handful of coriander
  • 2 spoons dried onion
  • 2 spoons Sesame seeds
  • 4 cashew nuts
  • 1 dried red chilli



RECIPE

Wash Basamati rice in water and soak it in water for 1/2 hour. After 1/2 hrs , rinse it and keep it aside.


How to roast boiled eggs ? 

1. Peel boiled eggs.


2. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
3. Add 1/2 tsp garam masala, red chilli powder and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
4. Roast books egg on a heated pan with this masala.
5. Pinch them with fork to make small holes to go masala in it.


Making egg biryani 

Add all ingredients listed under gravy together. Add water as required. Blend it in blender to make fine paste.

1. Heat 4 spoons oil in a pressure cooker for tempering.
2. Add sliced onions, sliced tomatoes and 1 green chilli.
3. Saute till onion turns golden brown.



4. Add 4-5 spoons of gravy that we just made
5. Roast it on low flame till becomes aromatic.

6. Add garam masala, biryani masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste.

7. Roast it well.


8. Place roasted boiled eggs on it.


9. Pour water soaked rice on it.

10. Add handful of fried onions and fresh mint leaves.

11. Add 1 spoons homemade ghee and 1 glass water

Here we need water just half than we use to cook it for normal rice. We have already soaked rice in water. It needs less water to cook.



12. Cover it with lid. Let it cook on high flame.

13. After first whistle, make gas flame low. Let it cook on low flame for next 4 minutes.



14. Remove pressure cooker from gas top. Let it open by releasing pressure by its own.

15. Pressure cooker egg biryani is ready to serve.


16. While serving make sure you are not breaking rice . Use fork to separate rice instead of ususal rice spoon .

17. Serve it with any type of raita.
