Matar Kachori with step by step pictures


Ingredients :
1 cup green peas
2 garlic cloves
1 green chilly
Salt to taste
For tampering : oil, cumin seeds

For Kachori's upper cover
1 cup wheat flour
Water
Pinch of salt
1 spoon oil

Recipe:
1. To make wheat dough , take wheat flour in a bowl.
2. Add required amount water, pinch of salt and 1 spoon oil.
3. Knee this dough tight.
4. To make green pease filling
Take 1 cup fresh green peas.
5. Boil it in water to make them soft.
If you are using freezes peas, no need to boil. Just make sure they are at room temperature

6. Take it out if water. Add 1 green chilly and garlic cloves
7. Grate it. We don't want fine paste. Don't add water when grating.
8. Heat oil for tampering. Add 1 spoon cumin seeds. Let them pop.
9. Add grated green pease .


10. Saute well till it become little dry.


11. Take a small portion of dough.
Place green peas filling at its centre with a spoon.
Cover it from all sides. Roll in a palm to make.its vall.

12. Roll this filled dough ball with rolling pin.



13. Deep fry in hot oil. To remove excess oil, keep on kitchen tissue.


14. Serve Matar Kachori with tomato sauce or tamarind chutney.
