INGREDIENTS :
6 pieces of chicken leg pieces
1 bowl of fried onion
1 small onion
1/2 bowl of chopped fresh mint & coriander
1 large bowl of yogurt
1 spoon of lemon
4-5 spoons of oil
For gravy
3 inches of ginger, 4 garlic
2 bay leaves, 2 cloves
4 green chilies, 2 green cardamom
1 inch cinnamon, 4 mint leaves,
fresh coriander leaves
Other spices
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
How to marinate chicken drumsticks / legs ?
1. Clean chicken drumsticks with water.
2. Using sharp knife make vertical cuts on drumsticks .
3. Add ginger, garlic, bay leaves. cloves. green chilly , cardamom , cinnamon , 4 mint leaves, some coriander leaves together .
4. Put it in grinder to make its fine paste.
5. Mix this paste with chicken drumsticks .
6. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala , salt to taste and 1 bowl yogurt(curd)
7. Add 4-5 spoons oil, 1 spoon lemon juice and fried onion
8. Mix it well.
9. Keep this marinated chicken overnight or for at least 6 hours .
Hot & spicy chicken drumsticks masala / leg piece masala
10. After marination transfer this mixture in cooking pot.
11. Add chicken curry masala or biryani masala. It's optional.
12.Cook it on low flame for 20 minutes .
13. Hot spicy chicken drumsticks masala is ready to serve.
14. Serve it with Jeera rice or Indian bread roti, naan
