Maroni at home | Baking chestnuts on a pan

 


Ingredients

Maroni - Chestnuts

1 jar water 


Preparation


  1. Make a small cut in its shell with knife. 
  2. Soak it in warm water for 1/2 hour. 
  3. Make frying pan very hot.
  4. Keep steel plate in it.
  5. Spread soaked Maroni on it .
  6. Cover it with lid.
  7. Keep flame high.
  8. Let it bake on flame for 30 min.
  9. Stir in between after every 5 minutes.
  10. Once baked nicely, it will start breaking and separating its shell 
  11. Serve it hot. 
  12. It break it full, just press it with two thumbs .
