Pedha is an Indian traditional festival sweets . You will get it in different variations.
Main ingredient of Pedha is malai, khawa or condensed milk . It is called malai Pedha or khawa / mawa Pedha.
Many people makes Pedha with paneer also. This also tastes good.
Today I made a Pedha with coconut , milk and sugar. This is one of easiest Pedha recipe which will take your less time and results awesome.

Ingredients :
1 spoon homemade ghee / readymade unsalted butter
1 cup coconut powder
3-4 spoons milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 spoons dry fruits powder
Method:
1. Take dry fruits of your choice. Put them in a blender to make its fine powder.
Here I used almonds and cashews . You can you pista too.
2. Take a thick bottom pan and put on stove top with low flame .
3.Add 1 spoon homemade ghee or ready-made unsalted butter. Let it melt.
4. Pour 1 cup coconut powder in melted ghee/ butter. Roast it for a minute.
5. Add 1 tsp cardamom powder and 1/2 cup sugar.
Mix it well. Cardamom powder gives nice aroma to coconut Pedha.
6. Mix 3-4 spoons milk in this mixture. Saute well fo
7. Add two spoons dry fruits powder that you just made.
8. Saute this mixture on a low flame till it comes together as one sticky ball.
9. Let this cool down little bit for about 1 minute.
Take a small portion of this semi hot mixture in your palm . Mould it in Pedha shape . You can mould in any desired shape.
Press its upper part with thumb . Fill dry fruits powder in it .
Let it cool down for next 15 minutes.
