INGREDIENTS :
1 1/2 cup samo seeds / warai
1 cup curd
1/2 cup sabudana flour / grinded tapioca
Salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda ( optional)
METHOD :
1. Grate 1/4 cup sabudana to flour. We don't need fine flour.
2. Mix all ingredients together.
3. Add 1/2 cup water to adjust consistency of batter as regular idli batter.
4. Keep it for 1/2 hour.
5. Grace idli maker with oil.
6. Pour batter in it.
7. Heat water in idli cooker.
8. Steam these idalis in idli cooker for about 4 minutes.
9. Once steamed nicely , take this idli stand out of cooker.
10. Let it cool for 1 minute.
11. With help of small spoon or butter knife, take them out . Let them cool down .
12. Warai idli are ready to serve .
13. Serve it with coconut peanuts fasting chutney.
