INGREDIENTS :
1 cup grated fresh coconut
1/4 cup roasted peanuts
4 green chillies
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 curry leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp homemade ghee for tampering
METHOD :
1. Grate coconut, peanuts and green chillies together to make a fine paste.
2. Add water as required.
3. In a cooking pot, heat oil for tampering.
4. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and curry leaves.
5. Let cumin seeds pop.
6. Keep it aside to cool down.
7. Add grated coconut, peanuts paste.
8. Add salt to taste and 1 tsp lemon juice.
9. Mix it together.
10. You can eat this chutney for your Navaratri fast.
11. Serve it with samo seeds/ warai idli, dosa or rice .
