EASY SPAGHETTI IN TOMATO SAUCE


INGREDIENTS :

200 grams spaghetti
4 tomatoes
1 onion
1/4 tsp turmeric powder ( optional)
1 garlic
1/2 inch ginger
2 spoons oil
Water
Red chilly powder/ red chilly flakes
Salt to taste
Pinch of sugar

METHOD :
1. Take 3 cups of water / water in which spaghetti can dip completely.
2. Add 1 spoon cooking oil.
3. Boil it .


4. Add 200 gram spaghetti.
5. Let it boil in water till it cooks completely.


6. It take at least 10 minutes to cook.


7. Once cooked, drain extra water from it. I used Indian steel drainer to drain it.



HOW TO MAKE SPAGHETTI SAUCE ?

1. Grind 4 tomatoes, ginger and garlic together to make its its  paste.

2. Heat 2 spoons oil in cooking pan.

3. Add chopped onion. Saute it till becomes transparent.

4. Add tomato puree we made.

5. Add turmeric powder, salt, sugar, red chilly powder/ flakes .

6. Saute it. Let this sauce cook it for 2 minutes.

7. Add water that  remained out after draining  spaghetti. It gives extra thickness to your sauce.

8. Cook it for 2 more minutes / till you get desired thickness of sauce

9. Your spaghetti sauce it ready.


11. For kids you can add this sauce over boiled spaghetti . Sprinkle grated cheese over it .


12. Or you can mix boiled spaghetti in this sauce. Keep some sauce aside to pour while serving.



13. Your spaghetti is ready to serve.

14. Serve hot spaghetti mixed in sauce in a.plate .

15. Pour some extra sauce that we kept aside on it.

16. Sprinkle grated cheese over it.
