A tempting chocolate cake recipe , made completely from scratch !
You will surely love this easy, moist and fluffy homemade chocolate cake :)
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup coco powder
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
Pinch of salt
1 1/4 tsp baking pawder
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup warm water
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup room temperature butter
1/4 cup watnuts
For frosting:
1/2 cup room temperature butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2 spoon coco powder
Recipe:
1. Preheat oven at 180C temperature.
2. In a large bowl of hand mixer or electronic mixer, add eggs, room temperature butter and sugar together. Mix it well till.it become fluffy and soft.
3. In another large bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and coco powder together. Whisk it with smooth hands.
4. Add butter, egg , suger fluffy mixture to it and mixt well. It will become like sticky dough.
5. Add vanilla eseesse, milk and warm water to it and stir it till it become fluffy.
6. In cake pan , spread butter paper to bottom. If you don't have butter paper , just spread room temperature butter layer at the bottom
7. Put fluffy cake mixture in cake pan . Tap pan twice to remove air bubbles.
8. Keep it in oven for 35 to 40 minutes at 180C temperature.
9. To make sure that cake is baked completely, just push a toothpick or cake taster inside cake at its centre. It should come out clean with no sticky cake mixture on it
10. Take chocolate cake out of oven. Let it cools down completely for at least 20 min.
11. Take this out of cake pan and place on a cake stand or large plate.
For chocolate frosting :
1. Take 1/ 2 cup of butter in a bowl
2. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 spoon coco powder.
3. Mix it with hand mixer till it before add smooth .
4. Keep this frosting in a fridge for 30 min. It will help it to become little hard .
5. Spread a flat layer of chocolate frosting on cake.
6. Decorate with walnut.
Note :
1. Don't use additional butter instead of oil. Oil helps to make this cake moist.
2. Let came cook completely before frosting .
3. Keep it in airtight container or in fridge for longer use.
