Instant and easy recipe to make soft and sponge idli
One of favourite douth Indian breakfast menu.
Ingredients :
1 cup semolina
1/4 cup sour curd
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp fruitsalt or 1 pack Eno
1/2 cup water
Method :
1. In a mixing bowl add semolina, curd together . Mix it well.
2 . Add water as required to form idli batter.
3. Add pinch of salt.
4. Keep this batter aside for 15 min. Let it set nicely.
5. After 15 minutes add 1 pach Eno and mix it well.
If you want soda , add 1/2 TSP lemon juice with it to activate soda.
6. Before pouring this batter in idali maker , apply oil to idli maker . It will help to remove streamed idli easily .
7. Steam this batter in idli maker for 5 minutes.
8. Remove idli from it.
