A simple accompaniment for varieties of parathas and for South Indian soda , idali.
Less time consuming , mild spicy Coriander Peanut Chutney is easy to make.
Ingredients :
1 cup chopped coriander leaves
4-5 curry leaves
1/4 cup raw peanuts
1 spoon roasted chana daal
2 green chillies
3 garlic cloves
1 spoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and sugar for taste
Oil for tampering
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Method :
1. Grind all ingredients to make its fine paste.
2. Add salt and sugar as per taste.
3. Heat 1 spoon oil for tampering
4. Add mustard seeds. Let them pop.
5. Add coriander peanut paste when tampered oil cools down.
6. Coriander peanut chutney is ready to serve.
