SESAME SEEDS JAGGERY LADOO | TIL LADDU

Ladoo made with sesame seeds and jaggery andding together in definite proportion are specially prepared for Ganesh Jayanti or Makar Sankranti festival.

Sesame seeds jaggery ladoo / Til laddu recipe with step by step photos



Ingredients :

1 cup unroasted sesame seeds
1/5 cup jaggery
2 big spoon market butter / homemade ghee



Method :

1. In a cooking pot melt butter / ghee on medium flame.


2. Add grated jaggery and let this too melt on medium flame.


3. Add unroasted sesame seeds and mix well .


4. Let this mixture saute on low flame till it come together as single sticky ball.
Make sure you are not over cooking jaggery else it changes its original taste.


5. Make a small ladoo of it when it's hot.
If mixture turning cold while moulding ladoo, make it little hot again . Cold mixture never moulds nicely.
