HOW TO MAKE HEALTHY SPINACH PARATHA / PALAK PATAHA

Spinach paratha / palak paratha is an excellent variation of Indian flat bread where you can mix up green veggies spinach .

This is specifically good for kids because of spinach content and easy to convince them to eat because of its taste. 

Your served dish will be loved by anyone who is not fond of spinach !

Ingredients

1 cup wheat flour
1 big spoon rice flour
10-15 fresh spinach leaves
2 garlic cloves
1 green chilli
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Oil 
1/4 cup sour curd / 1 spoon sour lemon juice

Method

1. Wash spinach leaves clean. 
2.  In a blender make a fine paste of spinach leaves, garlic and green chilli.
3. Take in out in big bowl. 

4. Add wheat flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, curd / lemon juice. Add salt and sugar. 


5. Make a smooth dough withe adding warm water as necessary .

6.App 1 spoon oil on a dough and keep it aside for 1/2 n hour.

7. Heat flat pan for making paratha.

8. Take a small portion of dough. Roll it in oval shape.

9. With rolling pin, roll it to 3-4 cm circular shape.

10. Apply oil and then dry wheat flour on its surface . Fold it half to make semi circle.

11. Again apply oil and then dry wheat flour on its folded surface. Fold it to make triangle shape.

Roll it to circle shape again .


12. Put it on pan you kept on flame. Roast it from both sides .
Apply homemade ghee. 


13. Serve it hot with raita or chutney of your choice .
