URAD DAAL PURI / BEDAMI POORI

Bedami poori is Indian fried bread made with black lentil paste and whet flour.
Must try easy lunch box recipe! 


INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup urad daal
2 cups wheat flour
2 garlic cloves
Small piece of ginger
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp red chilly powder, cumin powder and coriander powder
Pinch of sugar
Water as required
Oil for frying

METHOD



1. Saok 1/2 cup urad daal in water for 2 hours 

2. In grinder add soaked urad daal , ginger , garlic 
 Make a fine paste of it .


3. Mix urad daal paste , wheat flour, salt , sugar, garam masala, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, 2 tsp oil together. 

4. Add water as required to make a dough.


5. Let this dough rest for 15 minutes.

6. Make a small balls of it .


7. Roll it to Puri.

8. Fry it in hot oil.

9. Tasty badamj poori is ready to serve
