URAD DAAL DOSA

Urad daal dosa is one of the healthiest meal for kids . Eat and less time consuming lunch box menu. 

You don't need to ferment it's batter .

Serve it with sambar or potato sabji 



INGREDIENTS

1 cup white urad daal (peeled)
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
2 tsp roster gram split ( chana dal)
2 spoons semolina / rava
Salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
Oil as required

METHOD : 

How to make it's batter ? 

1. Wash white urad dal with water.
2. Add 1 tsp fenugreek seeds and 3 tsp chana daal
3. Add 2 cups water in it.
4. Let it soak for 4-5 hours
5.  After 5 hours , drain it completely.
6. In grinder,  make a fine paste of it .
7. Add water as required.
8. Batter should be at it's correct consistency. 
9. Add 1 tsp sugar and 2 spoons semolina. It's gives your dosa desire crispiness.
10. Keep this batter overnight.
11. Just before making dosa add salt to taste.

Making dosa 

1. Heat non stick pan.
2. Take one onion. Cut it half. 
3. Deep it in oil and apply oil with onion to a non stick pan.
4. Take a dosa batter in bowl.
5. Pour it at center of pan
6. Rotate it in one direction with bottom side of bowl. You can you dosa making bowl too.
7. Spread it round over pan. Make sure you are doing it really fast else batter get cooked and then difficult to spread over pan.
8. Let it cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. Cook till it's lower part turns golden brown. Sprinkle oil. 
9. Flip dosa and roast from other side too.
10. You healthy urad daal DOSA is ready to serve.
11. Serve it with potato sabji and sambar.
