fresh / frozen spinach
1 chopped onion
1/2 chopped tomato
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Oil for tempering
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 cup green peas
2 spoons curd
Salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cream ( optional )
PREPARATION:
1. Heat oil for tempering.
2. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds. Let it pop.
3. Add chopped onion and tomatoes.
4. Saute it till onion turns golden brown.
5. Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt to taste and 1 tsp sugar.
6. Mix well.
8. Add spinach.
If you are using frozen spinach, add directly .
If you are using fresh spinach leaves, cut them fine and then add.
Add 1 tsp cream . It's optional.
9. Mix well.
8. Add 1/4 cup water only if necessary.
10. Add 1/4 cup green peas and 2 spoons curd.
11. Mix well.
12. Let it cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.
13. Curd spinach is ready.
14. Serve with Roti or rice .
