BASUNDI - INDIAN SWEET

BASUNDI is an Indian sweet made with milk and some drz fruits.
Serve this delicious sweet with puffed poori.



INGREDIENTS

1 litre milk
3/4 bowl sugar
1 bowl milk powder
chopped almonds 8-10
2 crushed green cardamom 
pinch of saffron

PREPARATION 



1. Take thick bottom sauce pan.
2. Boil 1 litre milk for 15 minutes on medium flame.
3. Keep stirring . Don't burn it at bottom.
4. It will become little bit thicker.
5. Add chopped almonds, sugar and milk powder.
6. Mix well. 
7. Make sure no limps of milk powder are there in milk.
8. Add crushed green cardamom and pinch of saffron . 
9. Mix well.
10. Boil it for 10 more minutes on medium flame.
11.Keep stirring . Don't ´burn it at bottom.
12. It becomes more thicker.
13. Once done, cool it for 2 hours .
14. Freeze it for 30 minutes.
15. Basundi is ready to serve.
16. Serve it with puffed Pori.
