Ingredients :
1 bowl spinach ( fresh / frozen)
2 garlic cloves, chopped onion
Oil for tempering
Salt and sugar to taste
Turmeric powder, red chili powder
For Tadka :
2 spoons Ghee
3-4 chopped garlic cloves
1 dried chili
METHOD
1. Take 1 bowl fresh spinach leaves or frozen spinach .
2. Boil it for 2 minutes.
3. Add 2 garlic cloves and grind it to fine paste.
4. In a cooking bowl, heat oil for tempering.
3. Add cumin seeds and chopped onion.
4. Sauté well till it turns golden brown.
5. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder.
6. Add salt and sugar to taste.
7. Mix well.
8. Add spinach paste that we just made.
9. Let it cook on medium fame for 5 minutes.
Making Tadka
1. Heat 2 spoons ghee.
2. Add chopped garic.
3. Add 1 dried chili.
4. Once garlic turned golden brown , pour this tadka to spinach.
5. Keep it covered for some time. Let aroma of garlic mix with the taste of spinach.
Spinach garlic tadka is ready to serve. Serve it hot with steamed rice or Roti.
